I find this a very helpful website for educators who are interested in learning their teaching skills online, they'll find lots of tips on how to get started as an online educator and what challenges to expect.

this website is like a Starter Kit for Teaching Online, it is a resource for teachers who want to learn how to teach online. As a first step, teachers are encouraged to take an online course so they can explore what online education is like. The resource also encourages doing online research and provides free online tools. Included in the course are sample teacher lessons and additional resources from universities and Web pages.

3- What does it do for the field of educational technology (how does it contribute to teaching and learning).

Teaching online, which is what this website basically talk about, is part of educational technology. it contributes in learning and teaching by providing a complete guide to assist teachers who are willing to teach online.
